Cheniere Energy has finalised the Stage 3 development at its Texas facility and loaded its 5,000th liquefied natural gas shipment.
US liquefied natural gas producer Cheniere Energy has finalised the Stage 3 expansion project at its Corpus Christi liquefaction facility located in Texas, marking a significant step in the development of its terminal infrastructure along the United States Gulf Coast.
Alongside the completion of the Corpus Christi liquefaction development, the exporter reached an operational milestone across its broader export network by loading its 5,000th liquefied natural gas cargo from its Gulf Coast operations.
The delivery of additional capacity through the Stage 3 project at Corpus Christi expands the operating footprint of the Gulf Coast export business, reinforcing overall loading and export capabilities from the Texas site.
Cheniere Energy's reaching of the 5,000-cargo export threshold and concluding construction works on the terminal's third stage reflects sustained commercial activity across its Gulf Coast natural gas liquefaction and shipping assets.
